| Tasting note | We’ve uncovered the charm at the heart of the Chardonnay grape with this unpretentious wine celebrating its fruity personality. It was a warm vintage across Victoria in 2018, so it was easy to produce perfectly ripe fruit that displays the full range of Chardonnay’s classic flavours – stone fruit and citrus as well as melon and a touch of ginger spice. It’s a medium-weight wine that it satisfying for all the right Chardonnay reasons – big fruit balanced by light freshness and the ability to complement a range of foods. |

| WINEMAKING: Harvested in late March. Fruit was destemmed and fermented in static fermenters with regular pumping over. 12 months in a mix of old and new French oak barrels. | |

| Tasting note | The wine has an effortless opulence about it. An abundance of rich and vibrant black and blue fruits are obvious in the aroma and palate. Beneath these layers of juicy fruit there is an undercurrent of chocolate, fine oak and beautiful tannins. |

| Product 3: Handpicked Collection Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir 2018 | |
| Unique Selling Proposition | |
| WINEMAKING: This wine is from select vineyards in Red Hill, Main Ridge, Tuerong and our own Capella Vineyard in Bittern, making it a true representation of the region and the season. The fruit was harvested by hand at the end of February, chilled overnight, then destemmed and vinified in open fermenters with hand plunging. About 10% was fermented in whole bunches to increase red fruit aromas and tannin complexity. The wine was matured for 11 months in a mix of new and seasoned oak barriques from a selection of Burgundian coopers. | |
