The 2020 vintage was quite low yielding. A wetter year than average and a cool start to the season (2019) led to small compact bunches of Chardonnay with fantastic intensity, acidity and freshness across both the upper and lower Yarra Valley. Predominantly hand-picked Yarra Valley Chardonnay.Harvested Feb 2020. Whole bunch pressed with only the free run juice used 50% oak matured on lees, for approximately 9 months Partial indigenous fermentation in new andseasoned oak Barrels lees stirred monthly until winter No malolactic fermentation to keep it freshand maintain natural acidity | ||
